Excellent venue with a capacity of 150ish. Staff pleasant and bar prices are good (cash) and a real good vibe in the place. I definitely recommend visiting if you like an intimate small gig with some really cool bands and great atmosphere

I played here, it was lovely, very nice staff, prices are good (cash only!), the place is really charming and well-maintained. It's really important to keep that kind of venues alive, don't sleep on it Berlin, you're a lucky city ! Vive Schokoladen !

A very cool venue, hidden courtyard in Mitte. Once a year they do a Hoffest when the yard is alive until super late, with music, drinks, and people everywhere. Other than that mainly concerts and some art events are hosted here (inside though).

Shokoladen is some of those places where you can feel the real vibe of Berlin music scene. Went to see the live performance by the German/Kenyan duo ODD OKODDO and really enjoyed the whole atmosphere.
